What is glamping?
Glamping — “glamorous camping” — keeps the magic of being outdoors while replacing the discomfort with real beds, private bathrooms, climate control, and thoughtful design. At Blue Horizon, it’s closer to a boutique hotel that happens to sit in nature.
What’s included in a stay?
Every tent includes a private en-suite bathroom, premium bedding, and heating and cooling. Stays also feature on-site gourmet dining, and optional guided activities and wellness experiences. Specific inclusions will be confirmed at launch.
Is Blue Horizon open year-round?
That’s the plan. Our four-season tents are designed with insulation and heating so we can offer winter experiences — snowshoeing, hot-tub stargazing, and cozy Nordic-style dining — alongside the summer season.
Where will the first site be?
Our flagship site is planned for British Columbia or Alberta — chosen for their accessibility and spectacular landscapes. Future locations will expand to other provinces over time.
How do I book? When does booking open?
Booking isn’t open yet — we’re currently pre-launch. The best way to be first is to join our waitlist; we’ll share launch dates and founding-guest offers with that list before anyone else.
How much does it cost?
We’ll offer premium seasonal packages across three tiers — Standard, Deluxe, and Signature Suite — rather than fixed nightly rates. Launch pricing will be shared with our waitlist first.
Is the site accessible?
Accessibility matters to us, both on-site and online. We’re designing with accessibility in mind and will publish specific accessibility details for the flagship site as it’s built.
Can I bring my pet?
Pet policies will be confirmed closer to launch. Join the waitlist and we’ll keep you posted as details are finalized.
Is there Wi-Fi and connectivity?
We aim to balance modern convenience with genuine escape. Connectivity details for the flagship site will be shared ahead of opening.
Do you host groups, weddings, or corporate retreats?
